The Syrian star Kinda Alloush revealed that she will not participate in artistic works during the coming period, due to her desire to devote herself to caring for her son Karim.

Kinda Alloush said in statements to The Insider program in Arabic: In the coming period, I will not participate in any business, and I prefer to spend more time at home with Karim, because he needs my presence during this period.

She added: When my daughter Hayat was born, I was able to devote myself completely to her and give her all my time, but Karim is oppressed because my attention is divided between them, and I do not want her to feel jealous.

And she continued: When the right time comes, I will return to my artwork, and currently I am presented with topics that I love, and I have to apologize.

It is noteworthy that the past year witnessed great activity by Kinda Alloush, with the two films in which she participated, “Exodus” and “The Two Swimmers”, which received international success and honors on more than one occasion and festival, and the last of these honors was from the Cairo Short Film Festival in its fourth session.

The events of the movie “Exodus” revolve around Syria during the conflicts of the past years, where a missile destroys the roof of the house of the 14-year-old girl “Zeina” (Hala Zain), after which she sleeps for the first time under the stars, and establishes a friendship with “Amer” (Nizar Al-Ani), the boy in the house. Next door, and with the escalation of violence, her mother, “Hala” (Kinda Alloush), insists on leaving and enters into a conflict with her husband, “Moataz” (Samer Al-Masry), who refuses to become a refugee and tries to prevent his family from leaving the house, and the events unfold in a humane manner.

On the other hand, Kinda Alloush participated for the first time in an Indian film called Yellow Bus, which is an international co-production between Jordan, the UAE, the United States of America and India, and was filmed in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and after completing its screenings in international festivals and cinemas, the film will be shown exclusively on OSN Network as one of its original works.
