A state of alert is taking place in the Ministry of Interior in Kuwait, following the discovery of 4 bodies in separate places in mysterious circumstances.

According to local media, one of these bodies is of a Kuwaiti citizen in the Jahra region, two of a citizen and another of undetermined nationality holding a Sri Lankan passport in a building under construction in the Maidan Hawalli area, and the fourth of an unknown woman with Asian features who was found lying in a desert area near the convoy road.

Suspected criminal

The Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Jarida, quoted an official source as saying that the official in charge of the accident department at Al-Jahra Hospital reported that a deceased woman in her thirties had arrived at Al-Jahra Hospital, and she had signs of violence.

He pointed out that immediately after receiving the report, security men and detectives went to the hospital to examine the body.

The source added that the doctors of the accident department informed the security men of a criminal suspicion that led to the death, pointing out that the security men summoned the forensic evidence men, the forensic doctor and the representative of the Public Prosecutor, who ordered the removal of the body and referring it to the Forensic Medicine Department to determine the cause and time of death.

The source explained that the initial examination of the body by the forensic doctor indicated that there were traces of suffocation, which caused death.

He pointed out that the security men detained two of the woman’s relatives, who brought her to the hospital.

The second issue

The source said that the operations room of the Ministry of the Interior received a report from a citizen who reported the presence of a body dumped in a desert area near Al-Attal Road, pointing out that immediately after receiving the communication, the security men moved to the site and saw the body, which showed signs of burns, bruises and torture.

The source added that the security men summoned the forensic evidence men, the forensic doctor and the deputy public prosecutor, pointing out that the preliminary examination of the forensic doctor indicated the existence of a criminal suspicion that led to the death of the woman with Asian features.

He pointed out that the Deputy Public Prosecutor ordered the removal of the body and its transfer to the Forensic Medicine Department to determine the cause and time of death and the identity of the owner of the body.

Third issue

A guard in a building that is still under construction informed the Ministry of Interior’s operations that he found the bodies of two young men inside the building while he was inspecting them.

The source added that upon receiving the communication, security men, forensic evidence men, and detectives went to the site to inspect the two bodies, and found that they belonged to a citizen and an illegal resident holding a Sri Lankan passport.

He pointed out that the criminal evidence men removed the two bodies after the initial examination by the forensic doctor, which indicated the existence of a criminal suspicion that led to their death.
