The New Cairo Prosecution Office ordered the transfer of a gang that specializes in manufacturing narcotic substances inside an apartment in New Cairo to the Criminal Court to start their trial.

The Ministry of Interior had succeeded in seizing members of a gang formation, specialized in manufacturing and trading in narcotic powder in Cairo, and they were in possession of manufacturing tools and a number of firearms and ammunition without a license.

This comes, within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of the Interior, to reveal the circumstances of what was reported to the Fifth Settlement Police Department, in the Cairo Security Directorate, by (a person – a resident of the place of the communication) that he saw a group of people getting off two vehicles, one of them without license plates, and taking them to the driver of a car when he stopped at the place of the communication and took refuge. They fled, leaving the car to drive, and at a later time the driver of the aforementioned car (sales representative – resident of the Zawiya Police Station) came to the department with separate injuries and decided that when he stopped the car he drove at the place of the communication, he was surprised that some people “unknown to him” got out of one of the cars, it was parked next to him, and they assaulted him using a white weapon, a “knife,” which was in the possession of one of them, and forced him into the aforementioned car, filming the incident with a mobile phone, and taking him with them to one of the agricultural areas to sift the milk in Giza and abandon him there.

By conducting investigations and collecting information, it was concluded that behind the perpetration of the incident (an unemployed person with criminal information – residing in the police station), due to the existence of financial disputes between him and the owner of the car over drug trafficking.

After legalizing the procedures, he was targeted and was seized when he got into the car used to commit the incident, and by confronting him, he confessed to having committed the incident in association with (5 people, “three of whom have criminal information”) and that he took the apartment as his place of residence as a headquarters for the manufacture of powdered drugs, and by searching it, (a shotgun and two bullets from Of the same caliber – sums of money – a quantity of narcotic powder weighing 1,500 kilograms – 2 bags containing a white substance used in the manufacture of narcotic powder weighing 1 kilogram – 2 machines for mixing narcotic substances – a machine for packing narcotic substances – 4 sensitive scales – a number 7 empty bottles for packing narcotic substances – 2 bottles containing a liquid of narcotic powder with a total of 750 ml – empty bags for packing narcotic substances).

He admitted that due to financial disputes between him and the owner of the car, the victim’s leadership planned to kidnap him, and on the date of the incident, they kidnapped the victim and assaulted him by using a white weapon “knife” that was in the possession of one of the defendants and causing the aforementioned injury (mistakenly), believing that he was the owner of the car. They discovered that he was a driver with the owner of the car, so they abandoned him in the aforementioned area, and he admitted that he possessed the seizures with the intent to manufacture and trade powder narcotics, and the firearm with the intent of defense, and the amount from the proceeds of the sale.

After legalizing the procedures, the rest of the defendants were targeted and they were arrested and in their possession (3 white weapons – a cartridge gun – a tabanga – 5 bullets of different calibers). By summoning the victim, he recognized the accused and accused them of kidnapping him and causing him injury.

The financial value of the seized narcotics is estimated at approximately (2,500,000 – approximately two million five hundred thousand pounds).
