Do you remember when Elon Musk took a poll about Donald Trump returning to Twitter again? The result of the referendum was that he removed the ban at the expense of the former US president.

Twitter and Donald Trump

At the time, Donald Trump said he had no plans to return to Twitter or any other social network. And that he has his own network, Truth Social.

But according to sources, after the expiry of the exclusive contract between Trump and Truth Social in June 2023, the former US president is expected to return to Elon Musk’s famous tweeting site.

The exclusive contract states that Donald Trump must first publish content on his network, Truth Social. and share this content on other platforms after six hours have passed.

The six-month renewable contract is set to expire in June. Trump does not intend to renew it, as he plans to use all available social networks for his presidential campaign in 2024.

The various social networks had blocked Donald Trump’s account after the Capitol building incident in Washington, DC.

Where Twitter suspended the account of the former US president on January 8, 2021 permanently. Facebook, Instagram, and others did the same.

The reason for Trump’s ban was that he posted a video in which he incited his supporters when he said that the elections were rigged and that he was supposed to win.
