King Salman Center delivers 50 housing units to the flood-affected “Al-Mahra”

Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center delivered 50 housing units to those affected by torrents and floods in Al-Masila district in Al-Mahra governorate.

The project aims to end the temporary and continuous displacement of affected families by providing equipped housing units, in addition to distributing shelter bags.

Alleviating the suffering of displaced and affected families

The Secretary-General of Al-Mahrah Governorate, Salem Abdullah Nimer, praised the humanitarian interventions carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Relief Center in various vital sectors.

He stressed the importance of this project in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the recent hurricanes in the province.

This project comes within the relief projects implemented by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to alleviate the suffering of displaced and affected families in various Yemeni governorates.

1,500 food baskets in the Pakistani province of Punjab

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center team continued to distribute various relief aids to the most vulnerable groups in the flood-affected areas of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Yesterday, 1,500 food baskets were distributed in Rajenpur and Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab, benefiting 10,500 people.

These efforts come within the framework of the Center’s project to support food security in the Republic of Pakistan for the year 2022-2023.
