This morning, dozens of extremist settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, raised the Israeli flag, and performed provocative dances and Talmudic prayers, under strict protection from the occupation police.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that successive groups of settlers stormed the mosque from the Mughrabi Gate side, carried out provocative tours in the courtyards of the sanctuary, and listened there to explanations about the alleged “temple.”

Some of them also performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern side opposite the Dome of the Rock, and then left the squares from the Bab al-Silsila side, under heavy security from the Israeli occupation police, according to the Palestinian News Agency.

The occupation police, stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa, continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers coming to the mosque from Jerusalem and the 48 lands, and checked their personal identities and detained some of them.

The groups of the alleged Temple called for the organization of mass incursions during the “morning and afternoon” periods, and demanded that the incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque be intensified at the beginning of each month.

The pace of settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque has increased since the far-right, Itamar Ben Gvir, took over the Israeli Ministry of National Security, and the extremists, in all their provocative actions, are supported by Ben Gvir, who also stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque several days ago.
