Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, stressed the importance of consolidating the achievements and preserving the gains made by the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment to achieve sustainable development goals, as it is the first of its kind globally and comes as an expression of the faith of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, in the ability of youth. To lead their countries and the world towards a better future of peace and prosperity.
This came during a meeting between the Minister of Youth Affairs and Hamad Waheed Sayyar, Acting Head of the Organizations Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of a number of officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. To ensure that it reaches more countries and those interested in the youth sector and development goals, and to work to highlight its noble goals in the youth sector and to demonstrate the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting the efforts of the international community to achieve international goals.
The Minister of Youth Affairs stated, “The King Hamad Award for Empowering Youth to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals continues to consolidate its important role among the international community and has become the talk of leaders and those interested in the role of youth, especially in achieving sustainable development goals. It is noteworthy that the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals participated in its latest edition, with 6,176 male and female participants and youth-supporting institutions presenting their work and projects stemming from their ideas, representing 122 countries from different continents of the world.
