Saudi League: Roman Radoi as coach of Al-Tai

The Portuguese Pedro Miguel joined the list of sacked coaches in the “Saudi Football League”, after “Al-Ta’i” gave up his services after losing to “Al-Wahda”, deciding to seek the help of Romanian Mirel Radoi to supervise the team.
Al-Taie lost, on Saturday, to Al-Wahda, 0-1, in the 14th stage, to freeze its score at 18 points in ninth place.
Al-Taie said, in a statement: “Given the unsatisfactory results of the first team at Al-Taie Club, the club’s management decided to terminate the assignment of Portuguese coach Pedro Miguel Pippa, thanking him for the time he spent with the first team, wishing him success in his coaching career.”
In a separate statement, the club stated: “The club’s management has completed the procedures for contracting with the Romanian coach, Mirel Radoi. In order to lead the technical helm of the first team during the coming period.
Pedro Miguel has become the fourth coach to lose his job since the start of the current season of the “Saudi League”, after the Belgian Sven Vandenbroek, the Bosnian Bruno Akrapović and the Tunisian Youssef Al-Mannai.
And “Abha” sacked Vandenbroek after losing to “Al-Nasr” in the sixth stage, after which he contracted with Dutchman Roel Cumans, who started the task from the ninth stage.
After the eighth stage, Al-Wahda dismissed its coach Akrapović after losing to Al-Ittihad, to be succeeded by Chilean Jose Sierra, while Al-Adalah abandoned Al-Mannai after losing to Damak in the eighth stage, and replaced him with Slovakian Martin Svela.
