On Monday morning, dozens of extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the Mughrabi Gate, under the strict protection of the Israeli occupation police.
Since the morning, the occupation police have deployed their special units in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, and at its gates, to provide protection for settler incursions, amid strict restrictions imposed on Palestinians entering the mosque.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that 216 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since morning, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the mosque.
The occupation police imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of the mosque, and checked their personal identities, and detained some of them at its external gates.
The Jerusalemites renewed their calls for the mass gathering and the broad bond in Al-Aqsa Mosque, to thwart all plans of the occupation and the alleged “Temple groups”.
The Jerusalem researcher, Jamal Amr, called for the mobilization and Rabat in Al-Aqsa, to thwart the occupation’s plans and repel the settler incursions scheduled for today, with the beginning of “the Hebrew month of February.”--
And he said: “O you who are stationed in Al-Aqsa from near or even from a distance, you who are expelled from Al-Aqsa, you who are steadfast on the land of Palestine and outside it, all of you are required today to record a historic position in the face of falsehood and its crowds.”-
He stressed that these criminal settlement crowds defile Al-Aqsa by storming it daily as part of dangerous and long-term strategic goals, and plan to destroy Al-Aqsa and build the alleged “temple”.
Recently, the occupation forces escalated their targeting of worshipers and those stationed in Al-Aqsa, and imposed strict restrictions and procedures on the entry of some of them to the mosque, in an attempt to dry up the Arab presence in Al-Aqsa, through the many obstacles it places in front of them.
The union of the so-called “Temple Organizations” had announced a major storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque with the beginning of the “Jewish month of February”.
The “Temple Groups” added the beginning of every Hebrew month, as part of their plans and central incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the aim of intensifying the incursions and creating new seasons for the Judaization of the mosque.
Every day, except for Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of settler incursions, as part of the occupation’s attempts to divide it temporally and spatially.
