Egypt’s men’s handball team lost to its Swedish counterpart in the quarter-finals of the 28th edition of the World Championship.
Which will continue until January 29, for the team to compete for positions from the fifth to the eighth.
The confrontation of the Pharaohs with Sweden came in light of the rise of our national team as the second in the fourth group, after losing to its counterpart Denmark, 30/25, in its last confrontation in the main role in the World Championship.--
Egypt’s men’s handball team was able to beat its Bahraini counterpart, 26/22, on Saturday, in the second main round match of the World Championship, to ensure qualification to the quarter-finals.-
The handball team succeeded in achieving victory in the Bahrain match to ensure its official promotion to the quarter-finals of the tournament, especially as it succeeded in winning the first main round match against Belgium with a score of 33/28.
The Egyptian national team was also able to qualify for the main round of the World Handball Championship held in Poland and Sweden, achieving the full mark in the first round, by defeating Croatia, Morocco and the United States of America.
