The system of transporting and trading butane gas has witnessed remarkable stability, development and progress over the past years as a result of political support, good planning and the implementation of several strategic projects that were a key factor in removing bottlenecks in the distribution of butane gas, especially in Upper Egypt, where new warehouses and pipelines were implemented in Sohag and sources of receipt of imported butane were diversified. And entering the port of Damietta and absorbing tankers with a load of 45,000 tons next to the port of Alexandria, and the projects that were completed with the Sonker Company in the port of Sokhna, and increasing the dock for receiving butane gas with the Sumed Company.

To about 14 million housing units at the level of the governorates of the Republic, since the start of activity until the end of December 2022.
