Yesterday, Wednesday, the health authorities in China revealed that 4,273 people died, on January 4, in hospitals in China, due to the Corona virus, in a toll that is the largest in one day.
Gradual decrease in numbers
The Center for Disease Prevention and Control in China said, on its website, that: “The peak in the number of daily deaths resulting from infection with the Corona virus in hospitals occurred on the fourth of January, when 4,273 people died,” according to “Alsumaria”.
The statement added that the number decreased, gradually, and on January 23, the number decreased to 896 people, which is 79% less than it was during the peak.

The new Corona virus has returned to the outbreak in a number of Chinese provinces in a frightening way, which led to the imposition of strict and emergency instructions on the population by the authorities.
For its part, the World Health Organization welcomed Beijing’s publication of new data on its Corona infections, and asked it to provide more information about the pandemic in its provinces.
The organization said in a statement that its director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, had taken up the issue in contact with the director of the National Health Commission of China, Ma Xiaowei.
“Tedros reaffirmed the importance of greater cooperation and transparency on the part of China,” it said in a statement.
