Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): The Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dinah, affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen cooperation between all organizations and associations specialized in the oil sector, with the aim of exchanging experiences and knowledge and finding investment opportunities in this vital and important sector. Contributes to advancing the economy and improving living.
This came during a meeting between His Excellency the Minister of Oil and the Environment with His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Sabt, Secretary General of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) on the sidelines of the activities of the Middle East Energy and Sustainability Forum, where Minister Bin Daineh praised the great role played by OAPEC in promoting aspects of cooperation between Members in the various economic activities in the petroleum industry with the aim of uniting efforts to secure the access of oil to consumer markets in sustainable and stable ways, highly appreciating the efforts made by all member states to achieve the desired goals of the organization that contributed to the consolidation of relations with various specialized agencies in this important sector with the aim of exchanging knowledge Information and expertise, in addition to finding innovative and unique solutions to various oil and environmental challenges.
During the meeting, a number of related common topics were discussed, in addition to reviewing the latest developments, activities, events, current and future projects and studies in various oil and environmental fields, especially those studies and reports that the organization has completed in the field of monitoring environmental affairs and climate change.-
For his part, Mr. Ali bin Sabt, Secretary General of OAPEC, expressed his happiness at the warm reception and the topics of common interest discussed, expressing his admiration for the development projects in the oil sector and the environmental initiatives implemented by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
