The weather expert, Abdulaziz Al-Hussaini, warned of a sixth cold wave of moderate strength, since the start of winter this year, in most regions of the Kingdom.

Cold weather for the weekend

And he explained on his Twitter account, that regarding the weather for the week’s holiday, a sixth cold wave of moderate strength is expected since the start of winter for this year in most regions.

Light to medium rain

He added that he expects light to medium rain with fog in parts of Riyadh and the Eastern Province, calling on everyone and their children to wear heavy winter clothes, especially in open spaces.

Rainy thunderstorms in 5 regions

In its report on the weather for today, the National Center of Meteorology expected thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the regions of Al Sharqiyah, Riyadh and Al Qassim, indicating that while the sky is partly cloudy to cloudy, it will be interspersed with rainy thunderclouds in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, Makkah Al Mukarramah and Al Madinah Al Munawwarah. .

Thunderstorms and winds until 8 pm

The center warned of an expected state of rain, winds and dust, which will continue, God willing, especially on open areas and highways, until 8 pm.

Civil Defense calls for caution

While the “Civil Defense” called for the need to take precautions and caution due to the possibility of thunderstorms in parts of the regions of the Kingdom, calling for the need to move away from the places where torrents gather, water swamps, valleys and dams, and not to swim, and to adhere to the instructions.
