The Minya Health Directorate announced the launch of the “knock on doors” campaign to vaccinate against the Corona virus, next Sunday, for those over 12 years old, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Citizens and within the framework of raising the rate of vaccination against the Corona virus, and protecting the individual and society from infection with the virus and its complications.
Dr. Mohamed Nady, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Minya, stated that several meetings were held to discuss the preparations for launching the campaign activities, in the presence of the Ministry of Health delegation, preventive medicine officials, directors of technical and health departments, hospital directors and information center officials, stressing the availability of all vaccines.
The Undersecretary also appealed to all categories of citizens to quickly receive vaccinations against the Corona virus, pointing to the concerted efforts of the Ministry of Health and the executive agencies in the governorate with the Directorate of Health, to reach all the target groups of the campaign, and achieve the desired goals from them, and directed the health culture official to educate citizens about the places of gatherings and squares. and places of worship.-
For his part, Dr. Ali Qassem, Director General of the General Administration of Preventive Medicine, said that the campaign will be launched with the participation of 600 fixed medical teams in hospitals, health offices and medical centers, and mobile clinics in places of worship, gathering places, clubs, youth centers, schools, universities and government agencies, in all cities, centers and villages of the governorate to ensure access to all The target groups of the campaign.
