The Public Prosecution had completed its investigations into the communication received from the Financial Investigation Department about the arrest of an accused of Asian nationality at the land port for not disclosing 4 gold bars weighing 4 kilograms and the amount of forty-eight thousand and eight hundred Saudi riyals at the customs office when asked by the customs officer, where he He denied having any money, so the customs officer suspected him, and by searching his car, he found the gold bars hidden in the car, and by self-searching, the amount of money was seized, so legal measures were taken in his regard, as his act constitutes a crime of not disclosing the money in the customs departments.

By questioning the accused after confronting him with evidence, he admitted the charge against him and the Public Prosecution ordered him to be referred to the criminal trial, which issued a verdict convicting him and confiscating the seized items.
