The Egyptian men’s national handball team will play an important confrontation today, Wednesday, against its Swedish counterpart, in the framework of the quarter-finals of the World Championship in its 28th edition, which will be held in Poland and Sweden, and will continue until January 29.

The handball match against Sweden will be held at exactly nine thirty in the evening, Wednesday, Cairo local time, as it will be broadcast on the Ontime Sports channel.
The handball team seeks to achieve a strong achievement in tomorrow’s meeting by entering the golden square and surpassing Sweden, just as it succeeded in achieving victory in the last confrontation that brought them together in the last Tokyo Olympics, during which the Pharaohs won fourth place.
The confrontation of the Pharaohs with Sweden came in light of the rise of our national team as the second group in the fourth group, after losing to its counterpart Denmark, with a score of 30/25, in its last confrontation in the main role in the World Championship.
Egypt’s men’s handball team was able to beat its Bahraini counterpart, 26/22, on Saturday, in the second main round match of the World Championship, to ensure qualification to the quarter-finals.--
The handball team succeeded in achieving victory in the Bahrain match to ensure its official promotion to the quarter-finals of the tournament, especially as it succeeded in winning the first main round match against Belgium with a score of 33/28.-
The Egyptian national team was also able to qualify for the main round of the World Handball Championship held in Poland and Sweden, achieving the full mark in the first round, by defeating Croatia, Morocco and the United States of America.
And the Spanish technical director of the Pharaohs, Roberto Barondo Garcia, succeeded in grinning his fangs at the kick-off in the first round to get a morale boost that gives confidence to the players.
