US media reported today, Tuesday, that former US Vice President Mike Pence’s lawyer found secret documents in a house owned by the latter in Indiana, US.

The channel quoted its sources as saying, “Former Vice President Mike Pence’s lawyer discovered the existence of about 12 classified documents in the latter’s home in Indiana last week, and handed them over to the FBI.”

US media reported that the FBI and the National Security Unit of the US Department of Justice are conducting a review to find out how secret documents arrived at Pence’s home.

And last August, the FBI found 11 sets of documents, some of them “top secret”, while searching the residence of former US President Donald Trump, in Florida.

The FBI collected from Trump’s residence 4 sets of documents classified as “top secret”, three sets of “classified” documents and three sets of “private”.

Trump described the FBI’s actions as “an illegal pursuit, the use of the justice system as a weapon, and an attack by radical left-wing Democrats who do not want me to run for president in 2024.”

And last November, 10 confidential documents dated between 2013 and 2016 were recovered from the office of the current US President, Joe Biden, as the White House announced on January 9 that the US Department of Justice is reviewing potentially secret documents found in A think tank attached to Biden’s office, dating back to his tenure as former Vice President Barack Obama.

“The White House is cooperating with the National Archives and the Department of Justice regarding the discovery of what appear to be Obama-Biden administration records, including a few documents marked classified,” Richard Sauber, a special counsel to Biden, said in a statement.

The statement added: “The documents were discovered when the president’s personal attorneys were packing files in a locked safe to prepare for the evacuation of an office at the Washington-based Ben Biden Research Center.

Last Monday, Bob Bauer, Biden’s lawyer, announced that US Department of Justice employees conducted a search at the US President’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, and found 6 new confidential documents.

The spokesman stated that the Ministry of Justice confiscated 6 confidential documents, part of which relates to the period during which Biden held a position in the Senate, and the other part of his tenure as Vice President.

The lawyer indicated that the search took place for more than 12 hours and covered all parts of the house. The search was attended by the US president’s lawyers and representatives of the White House.
