The exchange rates of European and Arab currencies varied against the pound, as the price of the euro rose in the Central Bank’s transactions by about 10 piasters compared to yesterday, to record 32.44 pounds for purchase, and 32.55 pounds for sale.

The euro recorded in both the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr 32.28 pounds for purchase, 32.52 pounds for sale.

And the Bank of Alexandria and the International Commercial Bank announced the price of the euro at the conclusion of transactions at 32.39 pounds for purchase, and 32.63 pounds for the sale price.

While the exchange rate of the sterling pound declined at the end of the Central Bank’s dealings by about 13 piasters compared to yesterday’s price, to record 36.76 pounds for purchase, and 36.87 pounds for sale.

The exchange rate of sterling in the two largest government banks, “Al-Ahly Bank of Egypt and Egypt,” recorded 36.59 pounds for purchase, and 37.04 pounds for sale.

At the end of the transactions of the Commercial International Bank and Bank of Alexandria, it recorded 36.71 pounds for purchase, and 37.16 pounds for sale.

While the highest price of the pound sterling reached against the pound, it was in the Industrial Development Bank, where it recorded 36.78 pounds for purchase, and 37.96 pounds for sale.

As for the Saudi riyal, it rose by about 3 piasters at the end of the Central Bank’s dealings, reaching 7.95 pounds for purchase, and 7.98 pounds for sale.

The Saudi currency in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr recorded 7.91 pounds for purchase, and 7.95 pounds for sale.

And the Saudi riyal in the transactions of the Commercial International Bank reached 7.92 pounds for purchase, 7.97 pounds for sale, and in the Bank of Alexandria, it recorded 7.93 pounds for purchase, and 7.97 pounds for sale.

As for the Kuwaiti dinar, it rose by about 14 piasters at the end of the Central Bank’s dealings, compared to yesterday’s dealings, as it recorded 97.75 pounds for purchase, and 98.07 pounds for sale.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded 94.15 pounds for purchase in the National Bank of Egypt, 97.75 pounds for sale, and 94.12 pounds for purchase in Banque Misr, and 94.75 pounds for sale.

The Kuwaiti currency in the Commercial International Bank recorded 94.11 pounds for purchase, 98.09 pounds for sale, and at the conclusion of the Bank of Alexandria’s transactions, it reached 92.96 pounds for purchase, and 98.08 pounds for sale.
