A young man was killed while being pursued by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, in Ibb governorate, central Yemen, in continuation of the militia’s violations against citizens in their areas of control.
Local sources said that the militias surrounded the Al-Saeed educational complex in Al-Dhahar district in Ibb city, yesterday, Monday, before storming it in an attempt to arrest the young man, Muhammad Mohsen Al-Awadi, who came to the complex to visit his two sisters.
The sources indicated that the young man, “Al-Awadi”, was in possession of a hand grenade, with which he threatened the militiamen who tried to arrest him during the storming of Al-Saeed compound, so that he could escape and exit through the gate, but the militiamen chased him in front of the compound’s gate and fired bullets while he was escaping, causing him to fall to the ground and the grenade exploded with the young man. who died instantly.-
The incident caused a state of panic and terror among the students of Al-Saeed Complex, which is one of the largest girls’ schools in the governorate, amid widespread dissatisfaction by the parents as a result of the Houthi militia’s storming of the complex and its attempt to arrest a young man who came to visit his two sisters inside the school complex.-
The sources stated that the militias withdrew all surveillance camera recordings from the shops adjacent to the complex along the street, and kidnapped everyone who was filming the incident.
