Yesterday, Sunday, January 22, the specialized teams of the Syrian Civil Defense responded to five traffic accidents and three fires that occurred in the liberated areas in northwest Syria, which resulted in the injury of a number of civilians.
The Foundation said in a publication that five civilians, including a woman, were injured of varying degrees in five separate traffic accidents that occurred in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo, northwestern Syria, yesterday.
She explained that the first accident involved a collision of two motorcycles in the city of Azaz, north of Aleppo, in which a woman was injured.-
She explained that the third accident was a car skidding on a road in Fattamoon in the western countryside of Idlib, as a result of which two young men were injured, while two trucks got stuck in the city of Jisr al-Shughour in the same countryside, and an agricultural road between al-Taqli and Kafrghan, north of Aleppo.--
The Foundation pointed out that its specialized teams responded to all these incidents and provided first aid to the injured and worked to transfer them to hospitals and medical centers to provide them with the necessary treatment. It also contributed to raising damaged vehicles and opening roads to facilitate traffic for civilians.
In another context, three fires broke out in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo yesterday as well, the first of which was in the frame of an old car inside a junkyard in the village of Mashhad Rouhin, north of Idlib, while oxygen welding was used unsafely, and the second was in one of the primitive fuel refinery stations in the Tarhin area, east of Aleppo. And the third arose in a tent as a result of the heater in the mill camp in the vicinity of the town of Batbo, west of Aleppo.
The Foundation indicated that its specialized teams were able to put out all these fires and ensured that there were no injuries among the residents.
