Iraqi oil: $7.71 billion in revenue from crude exports in December


Mubasher: The Iraqi Oil Ministry said today, Tuesday, that the amount of crude oil exports during last December amounted to 103.28 million barrels, bringing the average daily exports to 3.33 million barrels.

The Ministry of Oil added, in a statement, that revenues from crude oil exports last month amounted to $7.71 billion, according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).

The ministry pointed out that the total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of December from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 100.74 million barrels, while the quantities exported from Kirkuk oil through the port of Ceyhan amounted to 2.22 million barrels.

The average price per barrel was $74.64.

The Ministry of Oil indicated that the exported quantities were loaded by 36 international companies of several nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Zubayr, mono-buoys on the Gulf, and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
