Today, Sunday evening, the Civil Protection Forces in Dakahlia Governorate managed to control a huge fire that broke out in some forests and trees in Izzyat Minyat Sindoub, which is affiliated with the Mansoura Center, next to the tanks of the Mansoura Resin Factory, and saved the area from an imminent disaster, as these tanks contain chemicals.
Major General Marwan Habib, Director of Dakahlia Security, had received a notification from Major General Mohamed Abdel Hady, Director of Criminal Investigations, stating that a report had been received by the Rescue Police Department that a huge fire had broken out in an amount of forest and trees in Azizia Minyat Sindoub of the Mansoura Center in the area adjacent to the Mansoura Factory for Resins and Chemical Industries.
Immediately, investigation officers, civil protection forces, firefighting vehicles, and ambulances moved to the location of the report, and upon examination, it was found that the fire broke out in a quantity of forest and trees next to the Mansoura Factory for Resins and Chemical Industries, near the factory tanks, which contain chemicals.
While the forces were able to control the fire before it reached the factory and the tanks, and saved the area from an imminent disaster, while the Civil Protection Forces are currently carrying out work to cool the tanks that contain chemicals due to the proximity of the fire to them, which led to their being affected by the high temperature.
The necessary record is being prepared, and the Public Prosecution office has been notified to conduct investigations to find out the causes of the fire.
