The Federation of Saudi Chambers organized the Saudi-Indonesian Business Forum, during which 8 trade agreements were signed between Saudi and Indonesian companies in the field of food industries, consumer goods, and export and import.
A number of Indonesian companies announced their desire to enter the Saudi market and take advantage of the promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
His Excellency the Indonesian Minister of Trade, Dr. Zulkifli Hassan, stated that Indonesian exports are of high quality and will continue to increase in the Saudi market, expressing his aspiration to sign a trade agreement with the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and to find ways to raise the level of trade and investment cooperation between the Kingdom and Indonesia, praising the great economic transformations. taking place in the Kingdom.
His Excellency stressed that Indonesian companies are able to meet the demand of the Saudi market, and the Kingdom is one of Indonesia’s strategic partners, as it ranks eighth among countries that export Indonesian manufactured food products.
It is noteworthy that the volume of trade between the Kingdom and Indonesia amounted to 21.3 billion riyals in 2021, an increase of 61% over the year 2020.
