The Saudi-Venezuelan Parliamentary Friendship Committee, headed by Council member and Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Ibrahim bin Mahmoud Al-Nahhas, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela to the Kingdom, David Villasques Carabayo, at the Shura Council headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, a number of topics and issues of common interest between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Venezuela were discussed, and cooperation relations in various fields were reviewed.
They also discussed ways to enhance work and bilateral cooperation in terms of parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Venezuelan parliament, and activating the role of parliamentary friendship committees in the two countries. In a way that contributes to supporting cooperation and joint work between the two sides.
It is noteworthy that the Parliamentary Friendship Committees in the Shura Council aim to strengthen friendship ties between the Shura Council and parliaments in brotherly and friendly countries and to achieve the greatest degree of coordination and cooperation in parliamentary forums at the regional and international levels.
