Tales of Art and Politics by Iman Al-Qassas at the Book Fair

Journalist Eman El-Qassas is participating in the Cairo International Book Fair with a new publication, a book entitled Tales of Art and Politics.

The book deals with a set of important dialogues conducted by journalist and writer Iman Al-Qassas with a group of major stars over many years, including the late artist Ahmed Ramzy, Wadih Al-Safi, Shams Al-Baroudi, Izzat Al-Alayli, Safaa Abu Al-Saud, Hussein Al-Imam and Hussein Fahmy.

The book also includes a chapter dealing with a group of articles, and another chapter on a number of technical issues that the writer triggered, such as popular neighborhood cinemas and how they turned into ruins.

The book also deals in one of its chapters with the memoirs of a number of cinema stars and celebrities throughout its history, including Youssef Wahbi, Laila Murad and Naguib Al-Rihani.

“Al-Qassas” said, “This book is an attempt to monitor artistic life in Egypt in recent years, by highlighting the most important issues that occupied the art scene, in addition to highlighting the role of Sabah Al-Khair magazine in presenting stars to the art world through the fields of story writing, narration, scenario and song.” And also acting.

Eman Al-Qassas worked as a journalist for a large number of major press institutions, such as Al-Ahram and Rosa Al-Youssef, and presented a number of programs on Rosa Al-Youssef’s electronic platform via her YouTube channel.
