The able Moroccan artist, Khadija Asad, passed away shortly after her long struggle with cancer.
And the Moroccan artist, Rachid El-Wali, mourned the late, with touching words, through his official account on the Instagram photo and video exchange site, saying: “I have now heard very sad news, the death of the beloved artist, Khadija Asad, in the hospital, after suffering from cancer.”
He added, “I do not know what to say and how to mourn the news of her death, because Khadija Asad is too old to find a single word that suffices her right. Years of giving with her husband, may God have mercy on him, Saad God Aziz, made us laugh with her works with the magnificence of her method of diagnosis and the art of dealing.”
And he continued, saying: “The last work I worked with was Caesarea Ovla, who, despite her severe illness, answered the call and played a wonderful honorary role …. She is an example for a generation of Moroccan women who are able to reconcile art, motherhood and responsibility … and among the actresses who excelled despite their lack of Possibilities”.
And he concluded his post: “She made all Moroccans happy all over the world, in her tours accompanied by the theatrical troupe, for months she wandered and arrived and reaped love and respect everywhere, may God have mercy on her and Saad God and all dead Muslims, and we belong to God and to Him we shall return.”--
Khadija Asad is one of the able actresses who were able to mark their names as well as enrich the Moroccan artistic treasury.-
