The report says the company is now telling its suppliers that these orders may not be fulfilled, and despite these issues, analysts say the company is on track for the holiday season, as they expect sales to increase 6% to $117.9 billion in the last three months of 2021. .

Apple shares fell 4.2% in New York trading on Thursday, while suppliers across Asia and Europe extended their decline after the Bloomberg report.

In other news, Apple is reportedly working on a wireless charger similar to the AirPower charger that has already been suspended, and according to the report, the Cupertino tech giant is working on a multi-device charger accessory that simultaneously charges devices like iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watch.

Also, Apple has begun researching and developing its own modem chips for future iPhones, and a new report says TSMC will manufacture 5G modems for iPhones starting in 2023.

The report says that Apple is using TSMC’s production of 5nm chips to design and test a 5G modem, but will use 4nm technology for mass production.
