Prince Mohammed bin Salman concludes his visit to the UAE with a meeting with Mohammed bin Rashid and a tour of "Expo 2020 Dubai" </p><div itemprop="articleBody"> <p>Yesterday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman began an official visit to Qatar. Emir of the State Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was at the forefront of his reception at Doha Airport, and an official reception ceremony was prepared for him at the Amiri Diwan.
The Saudi Crown Prince and the Emir of the State of Qatar chaired the sixth meeting of the Coordination Council between the two countries. During the meeting, Prince Mohammed bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to Sheikh Tamim.
The two sides discussed strengthening regional and international relations and situations in the horizon of consolidating partnership, investment and stability between the two countries and in the region.
This visit comes before the 42nd summit of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia in the middle of this month.
Qatar is the third stop in the current Gulf tour of the Saudi Crown Prince, after the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman concluded his visit to the UAE with a meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and a tour of the Expo 2020 Dubai headquarters. The meeting dealt with strengthening joint Gulf cooperation, future aspirations, and coordination between the UAE and Saudi Arabia at various levels and in various fields, in a manner commensurate with the two countries’ regional standing and the weight they enjoy at the international level.
The ruler of Dubai stressed the depth of the brotherly relations that bind the two countries, the extent of interdependence between the two peoples, and the specificity of that brotherly relationship that extends between them within a framework of integration of visions, unity of destiny and common history. The two sides reviewed a number of regional and international topics and issues of common interest, and the advanced level of coordination between the two countries within the framework of the strength and solidity of brotherly relations between the two countries.
In a tweet on his Twitter site, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said, “Today I met my brother, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, at Expo 2020 Dubai, and the world will be on a date with (Expo Riyadh 2030), God willing, and with Prince Mohammed’s efforts, I assured the Prince that we are also looking forward to a summit. The coming Riyadh, and the peoples of the Gulf, are waiting for new and great ideas and projects from us.”
For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE, coinciding with the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the country, stressing the keenness of the leadership in the two countries to continuous coordination in various fields, in light of the congruence of visions and positions on all regional and international issues, wishing the UAE leadership, government and people more of prosperity and progress.
In a related context, the forum, which was organized by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, yesterday resulted in the signing of a package of agreements between the private sector in the two countries.
