"the health" Explains the most prominent symptoms of seasonal influenza and how to prevent it (video) The Ministry of Health clarified the most prominent symptoms of seasonal influenza and the most affected groups, and how to prevent it and work to reduce its spread among people.

In an awareness video, the ministry indicated that influenza is a viral disease that spreads seasonally on a large scale, especially during the fall and winter seasons, indicating that its symptoms include high body temperature, runny nose, sore throat, and muscle pain.

She noted that the symptoms include headaches, coughing, sneezing, and a feeling of exhaustion, noting that influenza symptoms develop in some people to critical stages that enter intensive care.

She indicated that influenza is transmitted through droplets from the coughing or sneezing of an infected person, as well as contact with contaminated surfaces or contact with an infected person, explaining that prevention of infection is by taking the vaccine, maintaining clean hands and washing them with soap and water, and not contacting infected persons.

She stressed that the groups most at risk of seasonal influenza are the elderly, pregnant women and those with chronic diseases, so care must be taken to give the influenza vaccine to these groups.
