The lengthy interview conducted by the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, with MBC Egypt, revealed his future plans in his country.
On whether he would consider investing in one of the fields in Egypt, Salah commented: “I will invest in Egypt soon, and I will open a gym (a gym) and restaurants for healthy eating.”
Mohamed Salah spoke about his family, the people of his village, and his rituals when returning to visit his country: “I am very happy among my family in the village of Negrik Babsiyon, in which I was raised.”
He added: “I eat koshary as soon as I arrive in Cairo, and I feel very happy when I arrive in Egypt.”
Salah explained, about how to maintain his physical health, through diets, saying: “I eat between 5 to 6 times a day, but healthy food.”
The international star talked about his favorite singers and songs and the type of songs he loves.
Mohamed Salah said: I listen to Arab and foreign music, Amr Diab, Hamaki and Sherine Abdel Wahab.
And about his opinion of festival songs, he replied: “I hear the songs of the Tafareh festivals, and (Bint Al Jeeran) the world is broken.”
He continued, laughing, “I do not want to upset Professor Hani Shaker (chairman of the Artists Syndicate in Egypt).”
Salah previously established a charitable foundation in Najrij, his “village”, whose number reaches nearly 30,000 people, which aims to help financially needy families by giving them a monthly income.
In 2018, he funded the construction of a hospital and school in Egypt, and donated £2.5 million to the National Cancer Institute in Egypt.
And in 2020, Mohamed Salah donated about 405,000 pounds, food and fresh meat to some institutions in “Najrij”, to confront the Corona virus epidemic.
He contributed £30,000 to building a new ambulance station in his village to help improve medical care conditions there.
He also contributed to the construction of some sports facilities and a sewage treatment plant.
