Because of his “convictions”, George Clooney refuses $35 million for one day’s work

American star George Clooney revealed that he refused a tempting offer from an airline for only one working day, because of his “convictions”.

Clooney said in an interview with the British newspaper “The Guardian” that he refused $ 35 million in exchange for his appearance in an advertisement for the company, which he did not name.

Without providing more details, he said that the company is linked to a country that, although it is an ally of the United States, is “suspicious” at times, so he decided, after consulting with his wife, human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney, to reject the offer because it contradicts his “convictions”.

Clooney is known for his anti-corruption activism, which is why he launched The Sentry in 2015, which includes financial experts, lawyers, former policemen and investigative journalists.
