Announcing a portable gaming device in collaboration between Qualcomm and Razer

Qualcomm has announced its entry into the gaming industry by designing a portable gaming device in collaboration with Razer.

The new device, titled Razer Snapdragon G3x Gen 1, works on the Android system and can play all Android games and also broadcast them using cloud technology or through your home device or PC.

What is controversial is that the device is not available for purchase yet, but rather exists as a development kit for developers that the interested developer can order from today, but it is possible that the company will launch a special version for the general users at a later time, as indicated by the official statements.

The company said that it aspires to manufacture such a device to motivate companies and developers to expand and upgrade their presence in the mobile gaming arena.

In terms of specifications, we have inside the company’s G3x chip and a Qualcomm Adreno graphics processing unit that supports game play at a rate of 144 frames per second, and there is a 6.65-inch OLED screen that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution.

Also featured in the device are four-way speakers, interactive vibration technology, an active cooling system, Wi-Fi 6 and 6E connectivity for 5G mmWave and sub-6 networks, as well as a USB-C port.
