The Egyptian artist, Yasmine Abdel Aziz, appeared for the first time in a television interview, in which she revealed the details of her recent illness, and her suffering from a disease called “chocolate bags”, which she has had since she was 16 years old.
And Yasmine Abdel Aziz said, in her interview with the media, Mona Al-Shazly, on the “With You” program broadcast on the “CBC” channel, that she underwent a surgery that she had been performing constantly since she was 16 years old, and the last of which was after completing the series “Elly Malush Kabir.”
She added that she “felt terrible pains that she had not felt before, when she came out of the operations”, noting that she discovered after the operation that her colon had perforated and she had blood poisoning.
Yasmine Abdel Aziz broke down in tears, noting that “Dr. Essam Shelbaya was the one who saved her life after an error occurred in the surgery she undertook.”
And she said: “On the day of Arafat, all the people called for me, and I was dying, and after the day of Arafat, I became one again, and I left intensive care, and I knew I could speak, and my spirit came back to me again.”
She explained that she had received a video message from Al-Turabi a week before the operation, in which she discovered that he had started preparing the grave, noting that she liked to visit the cemeteries on an ongoing basis and sit there.
The last artistic work of Yasmine Abdel Aziz was the series “The One who is Malush Kabir”, which was shown in Ramadan 2021, and co-starring with her husband Ahmed Al-Awadi, and it is the first artwork that brings them together after marriage.
