Today, the General Assembly of the Tennis Federation is held to choose a new board


Today, Friday, the Tennis Association elections will take place at the headquarters of the sports federations inside the Cairo International Stadium Authority to hold the regular general assembly to choose a new board of directors, and there are 12 sports bodies that have the right to attend the general assembly for the elections tomorrow.

The General Assembly of the Tennis Federation consists of the fishing clubs, Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Al-Jazira, Smouha, Heliopolis, Maadi, Al-Zohour, Tanta, Sporting, Wadi Degla and Al-Ward Island.

Thirteen candidates submitted to compete for the elections, as Ismail Al-Shafei and Esraa Al-Sanhoury were nominated for the presidency, Hassan Al-Arousi and Amr Shaaban were nominated for the position of Vice President, Walid Sami and Atiyah Bayoumi ran for the position of Secretary General, and Wael Kamal was nominated for the position of Treasurer. Religion only, and Ayman Azmy, Ahmed Kamal, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Abdo, Sherine Shawky and Hazem Shiha were nominated for the membership position.

The Egyptian Tennis Federation had hosted the Davis Cup Tennis African Group III tournament from August 11 to 14, with the participation of 7 African teams, namely Algeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Benin, Mozambique and Ghana, in addition to Egypt, the host country..
