Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek club, revealed that the players who were loaned in the last period will return to the team, stressing at the same time that the penalty of Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, captain of the team, will be lifted.

And Mortada Mansour said in a video that he posted on his official YouTube channel on Tuesday: “I will speak with the Frenchman, Carteron, when he returns from his vacation, and we have no problem with the coach. Those who were loaned from the previous committees will return, or those who were sold as well, we will return them because the decisions of these committees are not binding, all migratory birds will return, and we do not have a magic wand, and let us work.”

He added: “We do not settle our accounts with anyone, and any decision that was arbitrary against any employee or in which there is a compliment will be canceled by a committee that was formed for this matter.”

And he added: “Some talk about Al-Ahly staying for a year without a vice president, what about the Zamalek club, which stayed for a year without a council.”

Murtaza Mansour stressed that the club’s management is seeking to be satisfied with the suspension penalty that Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, the team’s playmaker and leader, was subjected to.

Murtada said: “Shikabala spent 6 matches, I think it is a sufficient period, regardless of the ruling of the settlement center for arbitration, it is not the basis now, but we are committed to the decisions of the Football Association and we have no problem, but we ask for mitigation and contentment with the period he spent from the penalty.”

Shikabala was suspended for 8 months, which was reduced to 8 matches, due to the events of the league championship crowning, which followed the match between Zamalek and Al-Ahly Bank at the end of the competition.

Shikabala thanked Mortada Mansour, saying: “God willing, we will look good and promise to get the league again this season.”

The Ministry of Youth and Sports had recently issued an official statement, stating that the Administrative Court’s decision had been implemented to cancel the minister’s decision to suspend and exclude Mortada Mansour’s council, citing financial and administrative violations.

After the decision, Mortada Mansour and his associate council returned to head the Zamalek club.

Mortada Mansour headed the Zamalek Club from April 2014 to November 2020 before his council was suspended by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to investigate “financial irregularities”, but earlier, the Administrative Court of the State Council decided to accept Mansour’s appeal against the decision.

Based on that ruling, Mortada Mansour returned to the club’s management based on the decision of the Ministry of Sports.

The late Ahmed Bakri assumed the presidency of the club temporarily, before he was succeeded by Emad Abdel Aziz last December.

Hussein Labib headed the club’s management committee from last May to Sunday, November 21, 2021.
