Former Mercedes driver Rosberg spoke about his expectations for the Formula 1 winner this season in Saudi Arabia.

Rosberg’s comments

“Emotionally, I wish it was Lewis,” Rosberg, the 2016 world champion, said, despite the problems he had with him before retiring.

He added: “It is certainly not easy for Max, because it is the first time he has faced such a situation, and he is also competing with the most successful driver ever in Formula 1, and in this aspect he deserves the highest honor and respect.”

Rosberg suggested that Verstappen might be able to exploit Lewis’ weaknesses, saying: “You have to take advantage when Lewis goes through weaknesses, when he loses enthusiasm or focus something, then you have to attack with all your strength.”
