RIYADH: The Arab coalition in Yemen announced on Tuesday/Wednesday night that Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed two booby-trapped drones launched by the Houthis towards Jazan, in the southwest of the Kingdom.

“The militias are committing grave violations of international humanitarian law by trying to target civilians,” the coalition said.

He also emphasized dealing with sources of threats firmly to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attacks.

These repeated Houthi attempts during the last period come at a time when the United Nations is trying to establish a ceasefire in Yemen, in order to re-launch negotiations in order to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict that has been going on for years.
