Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah regained the memory of scoring in the English Premier League, so that his Liverpool team regained its balance and tone of victories in the competition, with a crushing 4-0 victory over Arsenal today, Saturday, in the twelfth stage of the competition.

Liverpool returned to chasing Chelsea, the leader in the competition, raising its score to 25 points, advancing to second place, four points behind Chelsea and two points in front of third-placed Manchester City.

Arsenal’s balance froze at 20 points in fifth place, knowing that it suffered its first defeat in its last nine matches in the competition.

Salah’s goals were absent from his team’s last two matches in the competition, to draw with Brighton and lose against West Ham, before the player scored the net in today’s match, and the team’s victories returned.

Liverpool ended the first half with a goal scored by Senegalese Sadio Mane in the 39th minute.
In the second half, Diego Jota, Salah and substitute Takumi Minamino scored three more goals for Liverpool in the 52nd, 73rd and 77th minutes, to be Arsenal’s first defeat after three consecutive victories.
