Milan beat Roma and continues to chase Napoli at the top of “Calcio”

Milan continued to chase Napoli at the top of the Italian league standings, after beating its host Roma 2-1 during the match that brought them together today, Sunday, in the eleventh round of the competition.

Milan advanced with a goal scored by Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 25th minute, and Frank Casey added the second goal in the 57th minute from a penalty kick, and Roma scored a face-saving goal by Stephan El Shaarawy in the third minute of overtime for the match.

Milan’s Theo Hernandez was sent off in the 67th minute.

Milan raised its score to 31 points in second place, with a goal difference behind Napoli, and Roma’s balance stopped at 19 points in fourth place, with a goal difference against Atalanta.

With this victory, Milan maintained its unbeaten record in the league this season, achieving its tenth victory against a draw in a match.

On the other hand, this became the fourth loss for Roma in the league this season, compared to winning six games and drawing one.
