 Clarification statement regarding the temporary suspension of applications for recruitment of new Filipino domestic workers to the KingdomToday (Sunday), the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development issued a clarification statement about what was reported by some Philippine media regarding the temporary suspension of recruitment requests for new domestic workers to the Kingdom due to a dispute between a Filipino worker and a citizen.

The ministry made it clear that the dispute was addressed in a timely manner, and the workers were returned to the Philippines, based on its desire, in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Riyadh.

She stressed her keenness on everything that would guarantee the rights of workers of all nationalities, indicating that she was working according to official channels with her counterparts in the Philippines to discuss what was published about the temporary suspension of sending domestic workers.
