And Mohamed Salah became the first Arab player to win the award, as well as the third African player after Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o.

Liverpool player Mohamed Salah won the Player of the Year award in England from the Football Supporters’ Association.

Mohamed Salah became the first player to win this award twice, winning the award for the first time in 2018.

According to the official website of Liverpool FC, Mohamed Salah was voted for by football fans from all clubs to outperform Manchester City duo Robin Diaz and Phil Foden, Mason Mount of Chelsea, Michael Antonio of West Ham United, and Yuri Tillimans of Leicester City.
