AC Milan extends coach’s contract until 2023


AC Milan officially announced the signing of Stefano Pioli, coach of the team, on a new contract with the “Rossoneri” until June 2023, with a clause allowing the club to extend the contract for one additional season.

And the official website of Milan published a “tweet” through its official account on the “Twitter” website, in which it said: “This beautiful journey that we live together continues: Congratulations, sir!”

“The Rossoneri coach was a wonderful project engineer on the pitch and contributed significantly to the club’s return to the Champions League,” Milan said in a statement posted on its official website.

The statement added: “Stefano coached Milan in 106 matches, scoring 59 wins, 27 draws and 20 losses, with an average score of 2.05 points per match in the Italian League.”

“Stefano Pioli is our ideal coach because of his professionalism, temperament and personality,” said AC Milan sporting director Paolo Maldini.

Maldini added: “He was completely convinced of the values ​​and strategy of our club. His leadership has created a coherent atmosphere for great ambition, and the goal is to continue the journey we started and achieve better and achieve better results.”
