A new statement issued today by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry revealed that the India pavilion participating in “Expo 2020 Dubai” hosted more than 2.00,000 visitors until the third of November, in addition to the fact that the pavilion witnessed many sessions for sectors to discuss the roadmap for growth in India, according to the statement. The statement stressed that during the first month of the global event, the Indian pavilion was able, through the conferences and sessions it hosted, to secure investment opportunities for the country, in addition to celebrating many cultural events to attract visitors.

Commenting on the success of the India Pavilion, Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India in Dubai and Deputy Commissioner General of India at Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “October was a hugely successful month for the India Pavilion, and we witnessed a huge turnout of visitors and we expect this momentum to continue in the coming months.”

“While the pavilion continues to showcase more business opportunities for collaboration and investment, the popularity of Indian festivals, food and cultural performances has played an important role in attracting visitors from all over the world,” he added.
