Women’s national team delegation leaves for Kyrgyzstan

The women’s national football team has left for the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, to participate in the Asian qualifiers, which will be held from 18 to 24 October, while the finals will be held in India from 20 January to 6 February 2022.
The team’s delegation includes 22 players, and they are: Maha Al Balushi, Amal Wael, Fatima Jassim, Salha Rashid, Rawan Al Hammadi, Sarah Al Balushi, Anoud Al Anzi, Nouf Al Anzi, Aya Walid, Nihal Abdel Aziz, Naima Ibrahim, Laila Al Muhairi, Aisha Ghayath, Shahd Khaled, Alia Hamid, Afra Al Muhairi, Areej Al Hammadi, Badria Al Mansouri, Eida Al Shehhi, Ghanima Rashid, Amina Al Hosani, Fatima Al Marzouki.
Our team will open its qualifying campaign against Guam on October 18, and play the second match against Lebanon on October 21, and in the third match it will face Myanmar on the 24th of the same month, in Group D matches.
Amal Bushlakh, member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association and head of the Women’s Football Committee, confirmed that the women’s team received great support from the Board of Directors of the Football Association headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, during the various preparation periods, which included internal camps, and playing international friendly matches, to prepare the team on The ideal aspect of his second participation in the Asian qualifiers, through which we aspire to be a positive participation, and indicated that the team includes a distinguished lineup of players who represent the elite of women’s football in the Emirates.
Bushlach praised the efforts of the technical staff of the national team under the leadership of national coach Houria Al-Tahri during the preparation periods, as well as the commitment and seriousness of the players during the last period related to the program for preparing for the Asian qualifiers, and called on the players to raise the rate of concentration and implement technical instructions accurately during the matches to achieve the desired goal.
