Russia announced that it will open its doors to Saudi citizens and allow entry to Russian territory among the list of 52 countries in the world, by granting them an electronic visa that takes minutes, after Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the list.

The list also included the citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman by publishing the decision on the Twitter platform of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It is noteworthy that Russia resumed flights with Saudi Arabia, starting from May 25, 2021, from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah only to Moscow, 3 flights per week, Grozny, one flight per week, and Makhachkala once per week.
