We have not received any request from Washington to reduce oil prices

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated that Russia has not received any request from the United States to reduce oil prices in order to stabilize the oil market.Novak said in an interview with the American channel CNBC: “In fact, no one has approached us, and the media wrote about such requests, but I do not know whether those reports are true. In fact, we are not aware of any negotiations between the United States and Saudi Arabia.”

The “OPEC +” countries had agreed, during the last ministerial meeting on October 4, to continue increasing production by 400,000 barrels per day in next November.

And since last May, the “OPEC +” countries have been restoring the volume of oil production after an unprecedented reduction last year.At the moment, the price of Brent crude is about $83 a barrel, and the price of West Texas Intermediate crude is $81 a barrel.
