Today, the Hajj Saudi Arabia limits the issuance of Umrah permits to those who are immune to two doses against Corona


Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed that the granting of permits to perform Umrah and prayer in the Two Holy Mosques is restricted to those who are vaccinated with two doses of the approved vaccine in the Kingdom, starting today, Sunday, October 10, 2021.

The ministry had previously stated, Based on the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on the health of pilgrims, worshipers and visitors in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, it was decided, starting at six o’clock this morning, Sunday, to limit the issuance of permits to perform Umrah and prayers in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, for those who receive two doses of the Corona virus vaccine. Approved in the Kingdom, and the cases excluded from taking the vaccine, as shown by the “Tawakkalna” application.

She pointed out that the pilgrims who have completed the reservation and issuance of a permit to perform the rituals of Umrah, prayer or visitation without completing the two vaccination doses, must rush to take the second dose 48 hours before the date of the permit to avoid cancellation.

She also pointed out that appointments are available to take and complete the vaccine doses at vaccine centers throughout the Kingdom.

The Ministry indicated that all precautionary and preventive measures related to the epidemic are subject to continuous evaluation by the Public Health Authority “Prevention”, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
