The Egyptian actress, Yasmine Sabry, revealed new details about her relationship with her father, Dr. Ashraf Sabry, who had attacked her with her mother and sisters for not attending their brother’s wedding in the past few days.

She explained that her grandfather and her mother’s grandmother were the ones who raised her, saying, “My grandmother is six strong, and Mama was a swimming champion, and they let me train and play swimming since I am 4 years old.”

She also added in a statement to the “abtalks” program, broadcast on YouTube, speaking about her childhood: “I did not live the luxury of time, but my upbringing was in it intensity and commitment, especially in sports.” And she continued, “If I don’t make it, I can hit it with normal slippers.”

In addition, he stressed that her relationship with her mother is very strong, considering that her mother is “everything she needs in her life.” She said, “She traveled after separating from my father when I was two years old, and my mother and grandmother were not serious.”

And she continued, “There is no relationship with my father, and this is not because of the separation. There are people who choose to complete the road and take responsibility, and there are people who choose themselves,” noting that the separation does not mean the disintegration of the family.

On the other hand, Dr. Ashraf Sabry, head of the Association for Diving and Conservation of the Marine Environment in Alexandria, expressed his astonishment at his daughter’s statements, considering that her words were incorrect. In a press statement, he said, “Her words are naive and incorrect. I was with her during the various periods of her educational life, from elementary school to her first marriage, and I did not abandon her at any time.”

He also explained that Yasmine lived with him in his house, and she has her own room, which still exists so far in the house, containing all her belongings and old photos. Evil and ungrateful to this degree, after she raised her and took her first marriage and stood by her side, she says about me like this, is the fatigue of all these years of no value when I was born to this degree?

Yasmine Sabry’s father had previously attacked her, for not attending her brother’s joy while she was at the El Gouna Film Festival in its fifth session during the last period, in a post on “Facebook”, hinting that money and private planes tempted her after her marriage to the Egyptian businessman, Ahmed Abu Hashima.

He also said in an intervention with one of the local channels, on Saturday: “I do not imagine that a person would be so ungrateful to an older brother, without any reasons or introductions,” adding: “A very strange need.”
