The Egyptian Football Association requested that 30,000 fans be allowed to attend the match between Egypt and Gabon, at the end of the Sixth African Group matches for the World Cup qualifiers, to be held at the Burj Al Arab Stadium next month.
The request of the Egyptian Federation stated that this is consistent with the direction of the concerned authorities to return the fans to the stands, and the Gabon match is the last for the national team in its series of matches in the group and will be held on its land.
While the committee that manages the Football Association decided to disburse a special reward to Carlos Queiroz, the coach of the Egyptian national team and the players of the team, contrary to what the regulations stipulate after the victory over Libya back and forth in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, where the Football Association believes that the team achieved two important victories at a difficult time.
